DMK to contest Yercaud assembly by-poll

Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa placing a wreath on the body of C. Perumal, a sitting MLA from Yercaud constituency (ST), who died of cardiac arrest in Salem, on July 18, 2013, whose death necessitated the assembly by-poll.

DMK would contest for the Yercaud (ST) Assembly constituency by-poll scheduled to be held in December, party General Secretary K. Anbhazhagan said on Saturday.
The bypolls was necessitated following the death of AIADMK MLA C. Perumal on July 18.
