LOL: Yuvraj to help AAP Campaign Pick up Speed?

We had victory in our grasp. We had all our Ramayan jokes ready. MS Dhoni was no doubt constructing an extra display cabinet at home to accommodate the World T20 trophy. And then all our hopes and dreams hit a speedbreaker, a speedbreaker that once used to be an F1 car. A speedbreaker called Yuvraj Singh.
TIR Yuvraj Aam Aadmi
It seems unlikely that Yuvraj Singh will ever play cricket at the highest level for India again. He is just too slow.
But speed is relative; a tortoise in one race may be a hare in another. This is proven by the rumours we have heard, that the Aam Aadmi Party is looking to no other than Yuvi to kickstart their sluggish election campaign. He will take them from a strike rate of 10 to a strike rate of 45, in short.
We tried to reach multiple members of the AAP for their comments, but they were busy making their rallies look less empty. So we have come up with three possible reasons for this step, aided by our expert psephologists: first, Yuvraj was last relevant in 2011, just like the members of the AAP. Second, he is fond of hitting fours or, at least, he used to be. The AAP would also really like to hit 4 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, though that might end up not happening. Finally, AAP needs the speed. What Virat Kohli is to Yuvraj Singh in terms of speed, Yuvraj Singh is to the AAP.
To complete our research, we went out and spoke to a few Aam Aadmis to find out whether they were in favour of Yuvraj joining the AAP – these survey methods have been tried and tested by none other than Kejriwal himself. A gardener in Mumbai seemed to feel that Yuvraj would not fit. “Most pictures of Yuvraj show him jogging. A jogger has no place in a dharna.”
Another aam aadmi, a college student this time, told us the real reason Yuvi won’t fit. He’s not good at the reverse sweep nowadays, and any self-respecting AAP member has to master reversal of statements and u-turns. However, we are confident that the AAP will find some person somewhere who supports speeding up the party via Yuvrajization, and make him the basis of a referendum.
Yuvraj hai Aam Aadmi?!
DISCLAIMER: This entire article is a work of fiction, if that were not already obvious. Yuvraj Singh would not fit in the AAP. He has actually accomplished something in life.
